Cheers to the 'Unbottling' EconomyI recently sat down in a wine bar with a friend who was skeptical of my pet prediction: the coming breakup of government services into separate business lines that anyone could provide.

But, thanks to invention of the cruvinet, every “bottle” can now be unbottled and sold in subunits, allowing us to sample nearly a dozen different high-end wines.

What’s disrupting so many industries, including government is this “unbottling” economy:  As with industries from taxicabs to hotels to music to manufacturing, few traditional government services will not be similarly “unbottled.”

Soon, everyone may be able to choose “flights” of governmental services – regulatory systems, welfare, currency – from whatever bottles they want, at affordable prices.
